Gold Coast Pediatrics provides the highest standard of personalized care for your child, from birth into adulthood, with dedication to serving families in our community. Dr. Aman Sekhon works collaboratively to offer a comprehensive array of services to address your child’s needs, including wellness care and disease prevention and management.
Comprehensive pediatric services are available on site including viral and bacterial testing, covid pcr testing, asthma care and behavioral health. Our goal is to be your child’s medical home.
Dr. Aman Sekhon completed an accelerated seven year medical program at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She completed her training at Cohen Children’s Hospital of Long Island Jewish Medical Center. During her residency she provided medical care to underserved children in India to improve the health, wellness, and quality of life of those most in need.
She worked as a pediatric clinic attending at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital Pediatric Ambulatory Care Clinic for the past 15 years and is on medical staff at Northwell Manhasset and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She is a Board Certified pediatrician.
Dr. Sekhon is excited to provide high quality, personalized, compassionate care where the focus will be spending time with patients and their families to provide an individualized treatment program.
Dr. Sekhon is fluent in English, Spanish and Punjabi.
Christine Zahler, CPNP has enjoyed working with the pediatric population for over two decades. Christine obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in May 2002 from Stony Brook University. She started her career as a Registered Nurse working at Mount Sinai Hospital on an inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology/respiratory disease unit from 2002-2008. She continued advanced training, completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree in May 2008 from Hunter- Bellevue School of Nursing, and was awarded the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Scholarship at graduation.
Christine began her career as a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the William F Ryan Center where she worked from 2008-2011. After moving to LI, she joined Port Pediatrics in Port Washington, where she practiced for a dozen years. Christine happily joined Dr. Aman Sekhon at Gold Coast pediatrics in December 2023, where she continues to provide exceptional care for children from birth through 21 years of age. If Christine is not in the office, you will likely see her at a nearby park or field with her three children.
